Whether your class chooses to French history or to focus on the complexity of the Roman empire, you can make France your classroom. Our study abroad programs range from 10 days to 9 weeks depending on professors’ goals.
All of our programs begin in one of two major European cities, Paris or Barcelona. Many groups prefer to land in Paris and depart from Barcelona and see 2 European metropolitan cities in just 1 trip!
Allez Abroad’s highly experienced staff will accompany the group every step of the way. From the airport transfer to the hotel in Paris or Barcelona, to your group’s departure, our guides and translators will be there for every experience.

Day by Day
10 Day – Historical Itinerary for Faculty-Led Study Abroad
Day 1 –
Arrival in Paris mid-morning, Allez Abroad driver and translators will greet the group upon arrival and transfer students & professors to a centrally located 3-star Parisian hotel. Lunch will be served at a nearby restaurant, then the group will depart for a private historical walking tour of Paris. After the tour, the group will have time to freshen up and relax before dinner at another Parisian restaurant.
Day 2 –
Breakfast included at the hotel, depart the hotel for *Louvre museum, then later cruise down the Seine river on one of the quintessential Parisian Bateaux Mouches , group will return to the hotel to freshen up and rest before dinner at a nearby bistro.

Day 3 –
Breakfast included at the hotel, depart for Lozère, lunch included, arrive before dinner, the group can relax and explore the natural surroundings before dinner at the lodging.
Day 4 –
Breakfast at auberge, then depart for Historic *Dolmen hike amid the woods and scrublands, enjoy a quintessential French picnic lunch before taking a guided tour of 18th century farm, situated on Causse Mejean a UNESCO world heritage site. Later visit the village sheep cheesemaker to experience the process of how local milk becomes “tome de brebis”. Dinner at auberge.

Day 5 –
Breakfast at the auberge, then depart for Troglodyte village of Castlebouc, lunch, and Via-Corda (rock climbing hike secured with ropes). Dinner at the auberge.
Day 6 –
Breakfast at the auberge, then depart for a kayaking trip through the Gorges du Tarn where the group will observe the 11th-century castle of Hauterives, the Renaissance castle of Chateau de la Caze, the medieval village of St. Enimie, picnic provided for lunch. Dinner at the auberge.
Day 7 –
Breakfast at auberge, then depart for a guided tour of Roquefort caves (Gabriel Coulet or Roquefort Société), lunch in Millau then private guided tour of Peyrelade Castle. Dinner at the auberge.
Day 8 –
Breakfast at the auberge, then depart for Spain. Lunch in Collioure. Arrival at 3* hotel in Las Ramblas, Barcelona. Dinner at an authentic Spanish restaurant.
Day 9 –
Breakfast at hotel, then depart for a guided visit of La Sagrada Familia, lunch then a free afternoon to explore Barcelona. Dinner at a restaurant near the hotel.
Day 10 –
Breakfast at the hotel, then departure from the hotel to Barcelona airport, and Au Revoir!
